Camp Recovery

Not every investigation yields evidence that a place is haunted. But every location does have a story to tell—a story that deserves to be remembered. Camp Recovery is just such a place. Established in September 1820 near Fort Scott, Georgia, Camp Recovery attempted to treat sick soldiers but ultimately failed amid harsh conditions, leading to numerous deaths. Abandoned two months later, the site faded from memory until the 1880s, when it received recognition. Today, it stands as a memorial, urging the need for remembrance.

Our September 2026 investigation did not give us any evidence, but you can read more about the history here.

Old Brooks County Jail

In July 2026, our investigation at the historic Old Brooks County Jail in Quitman, Georgia, revealed intriguing EVPs, including the chilling phrase “I wish you would go.” Built in 1884, the jail, known for its dark past and executions, has become a popular site for serious paranormal enthusiasts and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Historic Savannah Theatre

Our May 2026 investigation of the Historic Savannah Theatre in Savannah, Georgia, gave us two pieces of evidence: an ovilus response and an EVP. This beautiful theatre opened its doors in 1818 and is one of the oldest continuously operating theatres in the United States. It has survived fires, renovations, and changing eras of entertainment.

Sorrel-Weed House

In May 2026, our investigation at Savannah’s Sorrel-Weed House revealed a disembodied voice, a responding doll with an EMF sensor, and faint thumping sounds. Completed around 1840, the Greek Revival house has historical ties to slavery and the Civil War. It is now a museum offering historical and ghost tours and paranormal events.
